Guided tour at the ORF Media Campus

ORF Backstage invites visitors to get to know Austria’s largest media organization and gain fascinating insights into its day-to-day broadcasting operations.
From here, ORF produces around 10,540 hours of high-quality public-service media content every year. During the 90-minute tour, you can look forward to a colorful journey through Austria’s largest media center.

Behind the scenes, you will gain unique insights into television production facilities and media operations away from the spotlight. The tour offers an interesting overview of the activities and special features of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, including historical background information, details about technical setups, exciting insights into common television tricks, and much more. As a multimedia organization, ORF offers a wide range of analog and digital highlights as part of its Backstage Tour, bringing to life how television productions are created.

As the ORF Media Campus is an active production and broadcasting facility, the content and stops of the tour may vary depending on the production schedule, studio availability, and current broadcasting activities. No two tours are exactly alike — each tour is unique and offers informative, varied, and exciting impressions of everyday life at ORF.
